Saltwater-tested, freshwater-friendly detailing for bay boats, center consoles, and offshore fishing rigs.
Boston Whaler, Grady-White, Robalo, Yamaha 25-footers, Pathfinder, Sea Hunt. We handle Gulf Coast salt residue and Hill Country lake water — same boat, both lives.

A center console in South Texas is a dual-life boat. Friday it's chasing redfish in Port Aransas. Saturday it's pulling kids on a tube at Canyon Lake. The hull sees Gulf saltwater, hard freshwater minerals, fish blood on the deck, baitfish bilge water, and ten hours of direct sun — every weekend. Stainless rod holders pit. Yamaha and Mercury outboard cowlings oxidize. T-tops crack at the corners where the vinyl headliner glues to aluminum. Live wells smell. We service every one of those touchpoints because a $90k center console deserves the same level of care as a Class A motorhome, and most local shops don't carry the right products to handle salt residue properly.
Saltwater is the enemy of every metal fastener on a fishing boat. Stainless trim that goes 30 days without a rinse pits. Bilge pumps corrode. T-top vinyl shrinks where it's stitched to aluminum. Outboard cowlings oxidize where the powder coat thins. Center consoles also have more electronics than other boats — Garmin/Simrad/Lowrance multifunction displays, radar domes, VHF antennas, GPS pucks — and most need OEM-approved screen cleaners or you'll permanently haze the anti-reflective coating. We carry the right cleaners for every one.
Texas reality check. Half our fishing-boat customers split time between the coast (Port Aransas, Rockport, Corpus, Galveston) and the Hill Country lakes. That salt-to-fresh swing is brutal on a hull. We see corrosion on boats that went from a Port A trip Sunday to a Canyon Lake outing Friday without a real freshwater flush. Our standard center console detail includes a salt-residue wash that dissolves chloride deposits — not just rinses them — so you don't accelerate pitting between visits.
Salt-residue wash on saltwater boats — Salt-X or equivalent chloride dissolver applied to every metal fitting, hose-flush after a 5-minute dwell.
Pressure rinse the hull, deck, T-top, and console, then apply marine-safe pre-soak to break down fish blood, baitfish slime, and DEET residue.
Hand-wash hull and topsides with non-stripping marine soap, soft microfiber mitt. Two-bucket method.
Polish gelcoat with a DA polisher and finish-appropriate pads; metalflake hulls get metalflake-safe polish.
Stainless rod holders, cleats, T-top hardware, and gunwale rails individually polished with stainless polish — pitting we can't remove gets flagged.
T-top vinyl headliner inspection — clean, check for cracks, re-glue minor lifts at no charge. Severe headliner failure recommended to a vinyl shop.
Outboard cowling polish — Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Honda each have different paint chemistry. We use the right polish per brand.
Live well + fish box deodorization with marine enzyme; bilge wash to flush blood, slime, and standing water.
Electronics screens (Garmin GPSMAP, Simrad NSS, Lowrance HDS, Furuno, Raymarine) cleaned with screen-safe microfiber only — never glass cleaner.
Trailer wash, tire dressing, and trailer-coupler grease check. Marine sealant or salt-friendly ceramic on the hull.
Every item on this list runs on every center consoles job. No upsells at the door.

Yes — that's most of our center console customers. We carry chloride-dissolver products (Salt-X, Salt-Away) that pull salt out of metal fittings, plus standard freshwater hard-water removers. We can also set up a between-trip salt-flush schedule for boats that do Port A trips often.
Light pitting we can polish out. Deep pitting from years of salt exposure we can buff and refresh but it won't fully disappear. We tell you upfront what's recoverable before we start.
Yes. Yamaha cowling paint responds well to a polish-and-seal sequence. Mercury and Suzuki need slightly different products. We carry all three. Heavy oxidation may need light compounding, but most cowlings come back to deep gloss with a polish pass.
Only with OEM-approved cleaner and screen-safe microfiber. Never with glass cleaner — that hazes the anti-reflective coating on multifunction displays. We follow Garmin and Simrad guidance specifically.
All three. We service slip-kept boats at Canyon Lake, Medina, Travis, and LBJ; ramp-side boats at boat ramps; and driveway boats anywhere across San Antonio, Boerne, Bulverde, and Hill Country. Saltwater coast service is by appointment.
A standard wash, polish, vinyl, electronics, and bilge service on a 22-25 ft bay boat starts at $400. A full offshore center console (28-32 ft) with stainless and outboard polish runs $600-900. Heavy salt-corrosion restoration or ceramic coating is additional.
We come to your driveway, dock, RV park, or hangar. Same care, every job.
