    By providing your phone number and consenting on any Detail Doctor form, you agree to the terms below. Last updated: 2026.

    Program description

    Detail Doctor (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a transactional SMS messaging program for the purpose of customer care, appointment scheduling, service updates, balance reminders, and post-service follow-up. All messages are sent from our toll-free number and are tied to a specific service relationship between Detail Doctor and the recipient.

    This is not a marketing program. We do not send promotional broadcast messages, advertisements for third parties, or unsolicited offers. Every text we send is initiated by a specific Detail Doctor employee in response to a job we are actively working with you on.

    How you opt in

    You opt in to our messaging program by explicitly checking the SMS consent box on one of the following Detail Doctor forms, after entering your phone number:

    The opt-in checkbox is unchecked by default. You must affirmatively check it to consent. The exact language displayed at the point of opt-in is:

    “I agree to receive text messages from Detail Doctor about my appointments and service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies (typically 1–5 messages per booking). Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe. View our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.”

    Your consent is recorded with a timestamp and the page URL where you opted in. We maintain this consent record as long as your opt-in is active and for a reasonable period afterward for audit purposes.

    Message frequency

    Message frequency depends on the services you have booked. A typical detailing booking generates approximately 1–5 messages, including:

    • One appointment confirmation message
    • One day-before reminder message
    • One “on my way” message on the day of service
    • One post-service follow-up or balance reminder, if applicable
    • Occasional ad-hoc operational messages (e.g., schedule changes)

    We do not send recurring promotional messages, mass marketing texts, or messages outside of an active service relationship.

    Sample messages

    Below are examples of the kinds of messages you may receive after opting in:

    • “Hi [name] — this is Detail Doctor confirming your detail on Saturday 10/12 at 10am. Reply YES to confirm or call (210) 442-5691 if you need to reschedule. Thanks!”
    • “Hey [name] — Detail Doctor here. I'm on my way and should be there in about 15–20 minutes. Thanks!”
    • “Hi [name] — Detail Doctor here. Your remaining balance of $170 is ready to settle whenever it's convenient. Reply or call (210) 442-5691 with any questions.”

    Costs

    Message and data rates may apply. Detail Doctor does not charge for the SMS messages themselves, but your wireless carrier may charge for SMS or data usage depending on your mobile plan. Contact your carrier with billing questions.

    How to stop messages (opt out)

    You can opt out at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message we send:

    STOP · STOPALL · UNSUBSCRIBE · CANCEL · END · QUIT

    After you reply STOP, we will send you one final confirmation message and will not send you any further messages from our toll-free number. If you wish to opt back in, reply START or check the SMS consent box again on any Detail Doctor form.

    Carriers and disclaimer

    Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket, and Virgin Mobile USA) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Detail Doctor is not responsible for messages that are not delivered due to your wireless carrier, device limitations, network conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

    Privacy

    Your phone number and consent information are stored according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the messages described in this program and to contact you about active or recent service relationships.

    Changes to these terms

    We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. Material changes will be communicated via the messaging program itself or by other reasonable means.
