RVs and motorhomes take more abuse than any other vehicle in your driveway. Texas sun bakes the gelcoat into a chalky haze, hard water mineral deposits etch into the fiberglass, and the rubber or fiberglass roof slowly oxidizes year-round. Most RV owners only see the damage when it's already cost them thousands in resale value. Detail Doctor brings clinical-level mobile detailing directly to your driveway, storage yard, RV park, or campground — from compact travel trailers all the way up to 45-foot Class A diesel pushers. We specialize in oxidation removal, roof restoration, awning rejuvenation, slide-out seal conditioning, and full interior sanitation. Whether you're prepping for a summer trip to Canyon Lake, getting ready to sell, or just want your rig to look like the day you bought it, our multi-step process restores the gloss, protects the gelcoat, and adds years to your investment.
Every job runs the same way: diagnose, treat, protect, inspect. One technician. One car. Your approval at every stage.
If it rolls, floats, or flies — odds are we already detail it. Don't see yours? Call us, we probably do.
Full assessment of oxidation level, roof condition, slide seals, awning, decals, and interior — we tell you what's achievable before we start

Two-bucket method with pH-neutral RV soap to lift contaminants without stripping wax

Clean and treat the roof with UV protectant, condition slide-out seals, lubricate mechanisms, and wash extended slides
Deep-clean fabric or vinyl awnings, polish faded graphics, and remove mildew

Yes. We service RV parks, public and private storage yards, campgrounds, and home driveways across San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, Hill Country, and surrounding areas. We bring our own water and power, so we don't need hookups.
In most cases, yes. Heavy chalking and oxidation respond well to machine polishing with cutting compounds. We assess the gelcoat first and tell you upfront what's recoverable. Some sun-baked rigs need a two-stage compound followed by polish — that's normal for an RV that's lived outside in Texas.
Yes — this is one of the most overlooked services on an RV. We clean fiberglass roofs, treat rubber (EPDM/TPO) roofs, and apply UV protectant to slow further deterioration. We also flag any seal issues we find around vents, AC units, and skylights so you can address them before they leak.
A travel trailer or Class B can be done in 4-5 hours. A 35-foot Class C takes 6-7. A 40-45 foot Class A with heavy oxidation can run a full day. We give you a time estimate up front based on size and condition.
Both. Standard sealant lasts 4-6 months. Marine-grade ceramic coating bonds to the gelcoat and lasts 1-2 years even in Texas sun. For full-timers and rigs that live outside year-round, ceramic is well worth it.
Yes. Interior-only is available — we vacuum, steam-clean, condition leather, sanitize the bathroom and kitchen, treat odors, and clean glass. Useful before selling or after a long trip.
