Mobile detailing for slide-in truck-bed campers — Lance, Northern Lite, Eagle Cap, Bigfoot, Arctic Fox.
Truck campers are the off-grid weapon of choice for hunters, dispersed campers, and ranch hands. They live on the truck or in storage — we service them either way.
Service specs
A truck camper is a self-contained RV that drops into the bed of a pickup. Slide it in, tie down four corners, drive anywhere your truck can drive. They're the choice for hunters who want to overnight at the lease, dispersed campers who want to go where trailers can't, and overlanders who put a Northern Lite on a Tundra and drive into Big Bend. They take a beating — gravel road dust, tie-down rub on the bed rails, propane tank exposure, and the cab-over bunk that sits over the truck cab. Most local detailers won't touch them because they're awkward to access (especially when still in the truck bed) and the cab-over is a steep climb. We do them all.
Truck campers have a unique problem: tie-downs. The four corner anchor points on the truck bed see metal-on-fiberglass contact every time you drive, and over thousands of miles they wear the camper's underside corners. We inspect every tie-down point. The cab-over (the part that sits over the truck cab) is the most-exposed surface — full sun and full wind, and the seam where the cab-over meets the camper body is where leaks start. Lance, Northern Lite, and Eagle Cap each use slightly different cap construction; we know which seams to watch on which brand. The interiors are small, efficient apartments — propane heater, two-burner stove, tiny bathroom, queen bed in the cab-over. Every surface gets attention because there isn't much of it.
Texas reality check. Truck campers in South Texas go to hunting leases in Brackettville, Cotulla, Carrizo Springs, ranch overnights, Big Bend dispersed camping, and Hill Country off-road trips. They come back covered in caliche dust, with tie-down anchor wear, and propane tanks that have been knocked around. Dispersed camping under cedars in the Hill Country leaves tree sap on the cab-over.
Pre-detail assessment: tie-down anchor wear inspection (especially front corners), cab-over seam check, propane tank condition, jack feet, electrical cord.
If camper is in the truck bed: ladder access to clean cab-over and roof. If camper is on jacks (in storage), we work around the jacks.
Bug and tar pre-soak on cab-over leading edge.
Pressure rinse top-down.
Hand-wash with pH-neutral soap.
Polish fiberglass cap-over and sidewalls.
Roof treatment (TPO or fiberglass-specific).
Cab-over seam inspection and photo flag.
Tie-down corner inspection — clean, flag any wear or stress cracking.
Propane tank exterior wipe, regulator inspection.
Electrical cord and 7-pin connector wipe.
Jack feet (if on jacks): clean and lubricate, check stability.
Interior: vacuum, cab-over mattress flip and clean, dinette, galley sanitize, tiny bathroom deep clean, propane heater vent wipe.
Final inspection.
Every item on this list runs on every truck campers job. No upsells at the door.

Yes — we work around the truck. We use a ladder to access the cab-over and roof, and we hand-wash the underbody from the sides where it's exposed. If you'd prefer the camper on jacks, that's fine too — we can work either way.
Yes — every detail includes a tie-down inspection. We look for fiberglass wear at the four corner anchor points, stress cracking around the anchors, and abrasion on the truck bed rails. Anything concerning gets photographed and flagged.
Yes — we set up the camper if needed, clean the canvas or hardshell pop-up, treat the gaskets, and reproof any fabric panels. Pop-up campers have unique seam care needs and we treat them appropriately.
Yes. Caliche dust and Texas backcountry dirt come off with the right pre-soak and pressure rinse. Off-road underbody degrease is an add-on if the chassis is heavily caked.
We service home driveways, storage yards, and most local RV parks. For remote ranch service (Brackettville, Cotulla, Carrizo Springs), we'll travel with a minimum job size. Call to discuss.
A standard exterior + interior on a Lance 825 or Northern Lite 8-11 starts at $400. A larger Eagle Cap 1165 or Arctic Fox 1140 with heavy oxidation runs $600-800. Add ceramic coating or pop-up canvas reproof and it pushes to $900.
We come to your driveway, dock, RV park, or hangar. Same care, every job.
