    The treatment

    Toy Hauler Detailing.

Mobile detailing for garage-equipped toy haulers — Forest River XLR, Heartland Cyclone, Grand Design Momentum, Keystone Fuzion, Jayco Seismic.

Toy haulers come back from Big Bend, Bracken Cave, or ranch hunts with a garage floor coated in diesel fumes, dirt, and tire scuff. We clean the whole rig — including the garage.

    About this vehicle

    Why toy haulers is different.

Toy haulers earn their name. The back third of the trailer is a garage with a fold-down ramp door, and inside that garage are ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, motorcycles, or whatever toy the owner brought. Toys leak fuel, drag dirt, and exhaust diesel fumes into a sealed compartment that smells worse every trip. The walls and ceiling pick up tire rub marks. The ramp door gets scuffed beyond recognition. The fuel station built into modern toy haulers (yes, they have built-in fuel pumps) leaks if not maintained. We treat the garage as a separate service inside the toy hauler detail — and the rest of the rig the same way we treat any high-end fifth wheel or travel trailer.

The garage compartment is the differentiator. A toy hauler garage is a sealed indoor environment that's been a parking spot for dirt-covered toys. That dirt grinds into the rubber garage floor and the lower wall panels. Tire scuff marks need a specific rubber-removal cleaner. Fuel pump and fuel station compartment need degrease and inspection (fuel-station seals leak). The exterior of a toy hauler is also typically wider and taller than a comparable travel trailer or 5th wheel, with more decals, more storage compartments, and a rear ramp door that's the largest exterior surface on the rig. The ramp door alone takes 30-45 minutes to detail properly.

Texas reality check. Toy haulers in Texas go to Big Bend Ranch, Brackettville hunting leases, Hidden Falls Adventure Park, and dozens of ATV and off-road parks across West Texas. They come back covered in caliche dust, red clay, and brush scratches. Inside the garage, the floor looks like a workshop. We've seen UTVs left to leak fuel onto the garage floor for the whole trip — that smell takes a serious deodorize, not just a fan.

    How we work on yours

    The toy haulers protocol.

    01

Walk-around: ramp door condition, exterior cap and sidewall, slide seals, awning, garage interior assessment.

    02

Garage interior pre-assessment with photos — every fuel stain, tire scuff, and wall ding documented so you know what state it was in.

    03

Pressure rinse exterior top-down with appropriate ladder access.

    04

Hand-wash exterior with pH-neutral soap; ramp door gets dedicated attention because it's larger than most car doors.

    05

    Polish fiberglass cap and sidewalls.

    06

    TPO roof treatment and inspection.

    07

Slide-out service (most toy haulers have at least one slide on the living-side).

    08

    Awning brush-clean.

    09

Garage interior deep clean: rubber floor scrubbed with tire-rub remover and rubber cleaner. Walls and ceiling wiped. Tie-down rings cleaned and lubricated.

    10

Garage door (ramp): outside hand-polish, inside cleaned of scuff and tire marks, hinge inspection, weather seal conditioned.

    11

Fuel station (if equipped): compartment opened, hoses inspected, fuel pump exterior cleaned, leak signs photographed.

    12

Garage deodorization: marine enzyme cleaner on rubber floor, optional ozone treatment add-on for severe diesel/gas smell.

    13

Living-area interior: dinette, galley, bedroom, bathroom — full deep clean if requested.

    Toy haulers questions

    What owners always ask.

Usually yes. We start with a marine enzyme cleaner on the rubber floor (eats the bacteria that causes the smell), wipe walls and ceiling, and offer a 4-hour ozone treatment as an add-on for severe smell. Most garages come back to fresh after the enzyme + ozone combo.

Yes. Tire rub on white fiberglass walls comes off with a rubber-removal cleaner and elbow grease. We've never failed to make a noticeable improvement. Some stains may be permanent at the molecular level, but we get 90%+ of the visible mark off.

We clean the compartment, inspect hoses and the pump exterior, and flag any fuel-residue leaks for your RV service shop. We don't repair fuel systems — that's a certified mechanic's work.

Yes — Hill Country Retreat, Buckhorn Lake, Mission Bell, Yogi Bear Canyon Lake, every major resort, plus home driveways and storage yards across San Antonio, Boerne, Bulverde, and Hill Country.

Yes — off-road underbody degrease is an add-on service. We pressure-rinse the chassis underbody, dissolve caliche and red clay with a degreaser, and rinse clean. Particularly important after a Big Bend or West Texas hunting trip.

A 32 ft travel trailer toy hauler with light garage use runs 8-9 hours. A 40 ft fifth wheel toy hauler with heavy garage use and full interior runs 10-12 hours. Often split across two days for the bigger rigs.

Exterior-only on a 32 ft toy hauler starts at $900. Full exterior + garage + living interior on a 40 ft Momentum or Heartland Cyclone runs $1,400-1,600. Add ozone treatment and ceramic coating and it pushes to $1,800. Quote after walk-around.
